NATIVE FRONT YARD POLLINATOR GARDEN
FRAMINGHAM, MA
This wild garden was designed with three guiding goals: reviving soggy, clay soil, creating privacy from a busy street and establishing a pollinator habitat.
Together, we developed a landscape design that redirected the water that pooled at the far end of the house, integrating it into the rest of the garden. We rebuilt their hardscape, incorporating poured concrete and a new patio for a modern aesthetic.
For our plant palate, we chose varieties that support and nourish the site’s wet, clay soil while fostering a thriving ecosystem that functions as a Pollinator Pathway, connecting nearby parklands and strengthening the local habitat.
