This garden was thoughtfully refreshed to incorporate a new swimming pool, patio, cold plunge, and porch, creating a cohesive outdoor living space for the whole family.

The homeowners and their children love spending time outside and wanted a landscape that offers both sun and shade - places to relax throughout the day - and the sense of mystery and privacy found in a native forest garden. For the evenings, we designed a lighting scheme that illuminated feature trees around the landscape, offering a cozy nightime glow. 

 

Through our collaboration, the design balances naturalistic and modern elements, pairing clean, linear structures with plantings that move gently in the breeze.

A winding path and simple log seating invite children to explore and play, encouraging moments of discovery alongside the pollinators that travel through the nearby Danahey Park and Fresh Pond corridor.
