Jamaica Plain Pool Garden and Habitat
BOSTON, MA
This expansive garden was designed with enjoyment, gathering, and habitat in mind.
Nestled between the Arnold Arboretum and several Olmsted parks, the property offered a unique opportunity to create a landscape that functions as a Pollinator Pathway, linking nearby green spaces.
The homeowners— who are creatives and builders and who love to host— were drawn to a natural, slightly wild aesthetic with year-round interest, especially the textures of flowing grasses woven among native trees.
Just off the kitchen, the patio is framed by lavender and other culinary herbs, creating an inviting space for entertaining that seamlessly connects daily life with the garden.
